As the owner of The Audiology Center, LLC, Dr. Colleen Basler took over the practice from Dr. Gilbert Phon. Phon started The Audiology Center in St. Peter’s, Missouri, in 1982. He later added two more locations in Chesterfield as well as in Florissant. Phon continues to mentor Basler, who looks forward to continuing all current and future services for her patients as well as expanding upon those services.
Basler graduated from the University of Illinois where she earned her Doctorate in audiology. She completed her undergraduate degree at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri, where she felt Audiology calling her name. “I always appreciate the chance to make a change in someone’s life. Giving people their hearing back gives them a chance to live better.” Through a variety of clinical experiences, Basler learned the true meaning of service and patient care. She is a member of American Academy of Audiology as well as Missouri Academy of Audiology where she continues to grow as an audiologist. When not practicing, Basler enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. She also loves camping, traveling, reading and cooking.
